Installation

1. Upload the smart-ai-campaign folder to /wp-content/plugins/, or install via the WordPress admin.

2. Activate the plugin through the Plugins menu.

3. Configure – Go to WooCommerce → Settings → AI Campaigns and enter your Gemini API key (get one from Google AI Studio).

4. Create your first campaign under WooCommerce → AI Campaigns → Add New.

5. Generate – Write a prompt, click Generate with AI, review the content, set start/end dates, enable coupon creation if desired, and publish (activate).

6. Automate – The daily cron will send emails to all customers once the campaign is active and within its date range.

How does the AI generate campaigns?

The plugin sends your prompt (and selected campaign type) to Google Gemini, which returns a structured JSON response with email content, coupon details, and promotional ideas. You can tweak everything before saving.

How are emails sent?

Emails are sent via wp_mail() and scheduled using WooCommerce’s Action Scheduler. The cron runs daily and sends all active campaigns within their start/end dates.

Can I customise the coupon settings?

Yes. In the campaign edit screen, you can enable coupon creation, override the AI‑generated code, discount type, and amount. Coupon expiry is automatically set to the campaign end date.
